jazz standards that work with the bass playing the melody

Basically what the title says.

In summer we'll have an exam in music school where I have to play a tune, melody comping, solo. So I need some tunes that work well with bass playing the melody.
I've played Four and Spain at the entry exam last year so none of these and not So What either. ;)
I thought of playing Nigerian Market Place but I'm not sure because of thet 16th run where I have to slide up to get those last few notes I've also played In A Sentimental Mood but maybe I could play something new.

Our group is drums, bass (me), guitar, trombone, tenor sax, trumpet and a female singer. I can make use of the but don't have to.

Any ideas for nice tunes that could work in that context?

thanks already

All of them?
I don't know that one. ;)

But seriously, I agree. I'm a huge fan of learning melodies. The OP could just go through a fake book and play melodies, or learn them by ear from recordings. Since it's for a graded performance, an appropriate tune would be at the OP's level, meaning that they could weed out tunes with really awkward fingering problems or impossible changes. But there are so many playable tunes.
