Jeff Ament's single pickup bass

Hi guys! In recent Pearl Jam videos Ive noticed that Jeff Ament has been playing a single pickup bass! It looks kinda like his customized Mike Lull PT4 bass but this one only has one pickup!
Would anyone know what kind of pickup this is? Kinda looks like a Music Man humbucker! It sounds killer!

Dimensionally, that does look much like a Dark Star or Bi-Sonic, but usually the frame is chromed and the pickup cover black.

No problem. Those are giant single coils, despite the humbucker look.

Hi Rabidhamster! A friend of mine who has the Curtis Novak BS-DS pickups said his puckups have the black colored face! I noticed Jeff's pickups have the white colored face! Is it possible that Jeff's pickups are the humbuckers and not the BS-DS one?

You can order black or white face for the bs-ds. The "bisonic like" humbucker fits a mud bucker route and has three sets of pole pieces visible when it's uncovered, 2 slug rows 1 screw row, and I don't think it comes in white either, so it doesn't look close enough to be mistaken.

The BSDS can be ordered to be wound hum cancelling. Not as boomy, though. You lose a little low end.
