If you look hard enough, you’ll be able to be disappointed by most of the people you choose to look up to.

Some folks you need to look a bit less hard at, but when you hear about people with drug and alcohol problems, don’t forget that those problems often take a toll on those closest to them.

Pretty sure none of the people I look up to are pedophiles. I don't even have to look that hard to make sure it's not the case.

Movie with Dennis Quaid as Jerry Lee Lewis, is one of the reasons I like bass: there´s a scene which appears a Telebass (I guess so); instantly thought "heyyy! that´s cool, I wanna play bass".

Actually, that would be the original(‘51)model of the Precision Bass, for years the only Fender bass. After the change later in the decade, influenced by the Stratocaster guitar, that became the iconic design enduring to this day. In 1968, the OG format, with a few tweaks, was brought back as the “Telecaster Bass”, and then changed slightly in ‘72.

Always loved "Middle Aged Crazy."

Con Hunley tells a story about playing a gig and on his rider it required a grand piano. When they arrived for a sound check, the piano was all beat to hell and horribly out of tune. He asked the manager about it and was told it was tuned only a few days ago. He went on to say that Jerry Lee Lewis had played on it just two nights ago and it sounded great!

You'll love it. The writing is vivid and the story nuanced. Like many things southern, it asks you to hold good and bad in your hand at the same time, and to acknowledge both.
