I think I hate the song, but I've skipped over it for the last 15 years, so maybe I'd like it now. But I'm not going to take that risk and waste four minutes I could be wasting talking about it here

I can still recall clearly the first time I heard both Stand Up and Benefit. I was utterly gobsmacked at the musicianship and the originality of the music. To Cry You A Song and Teacher were the first "Prog" songs I learned on bass and the former still pops out of my noodling hands sometimes. I listened to Thick As A Brick all the way through in the car recently and really enjoyed it: especially the organ content.
