Jethro Tull

Been listening to minstrel in the gallery a lot last week. It's amazing how much of the lines in there sound like basslines I hear in my head (I've just got to get them out :p )

For all you UK people, tull is coming to the UK again to tour in March. Unfortunatly, the eu locations are either spain, austrial, switzerland or italy:( Anyone going?

Glenn is the man....

....I've been going through Passion Play...some of those Jeffrey lines are so interesting too....

:bassist:

I've got a lot of Tull on vinyl, and some on CD too, and the two excellent DVDs, Living With The Past, which is recent concert stuff interspersed with a pub-like setting for a reunion of Anderson, Cornick, Bunker, and Abrahams (very cool to see the guys getting it on!) and A New Day Yesterday which is a smattering of various periods and sources including concerts, TV appearances, and promo videos.

I see me some Blodwyn there ; }

I was listening to some of my dad's old vinyls today, and that bassist is nuts.

Can someone tell me who he/she is, and what kind of gear he/she uses?

thanks.

Most of the early stuff would have Glen Cornick on it. I seem to remember him playing an old Gibson EB-O hollowbody. He had a jazz streak in him! I especially liked 'Stand Up" and 'Benefit' ( I consider pre Aqualung as early)
