I too loved JG's playing and tone...I especially love the tone on Stormwatch but I'm not sure how many of those tracks were laid down by IA. Does anyone know what rig JG was using? I heard he had a 70s SVT but I can't corroborate this.Great info jglscockfan#1..thanks......I have to check out some of his early stuff if I can find any here in Canada.
I was shocked when I found out that he died at the time...I was playing along to Stormwatch almost everyday and then at the same time heard the news- quite strange.
I loved his playing...and tone.
