JHS Legends of Fuzz Series

I have to say I'm quite excited

Those are pretty cool, I've become a JHS fan since becoming more of a guitar player. Their pedals never quite worked for me on bass, but since picking up guitar duties I get to experiment with a wider range of pedals :)

Those JHS 'classic' pedals are neat, this video is just fascinating. I never knew/cared about Tone Benders before this.

After listening to a few of the guitar demos thet are already out, I'm suspecting that the Supreme is a fair bit brighter and more compressed than the original superfuzz and this I feel this might not be too it's benefit on bass but I'm gonna see.

Yeah I have to agree after hearing it. I was hoping for something similar to the Boss FZ-2 but I guess that isn't the point of these. The Tonebender sounds like it might have some use on bass though, and the muff obviously.

Yeah I've had quite a few mk III Tonebenders and they're all pretty great on bass.

I would have gone for the Crimson but I've got a Sanford & Sonny Bluebeard so I'm trying (hard) not to get any more muffs.

I would have gone for the Smiley but I'm pretty certain the Recovery Effects Pearl I have on the way is going to cover similar ground.

The Pearl is awesome. Be sure to try it with an unbufferred signal.

I'm trying out the Supreme this weekend. JHS brings the fun. I've found their pedals usually work pretty well for bass but I tend to blend the dirt pretty light.
Press the buttons on the side to make sure they're both pressed in. This is the best bass sound on the Supreme. Having said that, every sound the Supreme makes on bass is great. But the bassiest is with both buttons pressed in. Also, I tried out the Supreme with a Damnation loop blend pedal and it was amazing. It takes to blending very well. The Supreme is a great Superfuzz for bass!
