Price back at $500 on Sweetwater. Surprised they made it this long with the price drop but I guess some remain. Kudos to those enjoying them, took mine for first time out to play at band rehearsal and really enjoyed it in a group setting.

I just switched my knobs out for these classic fender knobs to go along with the theme of the amp sim.

Got a link for those knobs...?
Regarding powered bass cabinets, kinda interested to see how the Blackstar 250W 1x15" (no tweeter) powered cab might perform with the Punchline...
Anyone, anyone...?
At least you gave it a shot.I tried one. I did not like the huge mid scoop on the speaker sim and was not a fan of the drive channel. I sent it back.
The EQ was great and the comp channel was good.
I'd been watching for feedback about performance of the Blackstar 250ACT cab, but hadn't had any luck. However, my goal was also to find a lightweight powered cabinet (the Blackstar is 42 lbs,) which led me to the GR Bass cabs as suggested by @Zbysek.Got a link for those knobs...?

Alembicized/graphite-necked MIJ PJ bass into 3Leaf Proton into JHS/Beach Boys Punchline (comp/amp sim/eq)

No that wasn’t me - I’m a standalone pedal kind of guy. I’ve never gone fully down the envelope filter rabbit hole, have a Moogerfooger MF-101 and 3Leaf GR2, when I got the 3Leaf it was the Gr2 or Proton, I chose the GR2 but always wanted a Proton so snagged one from the most recent run.If I recall correctly you use a HX Stomp as well correct? Did you find the filters to be not really comparable to a standalone pedal like the Proton?

I pulled the trigger on a powered GR cab to eventually use with my Punchline, which I just unpacked yesterday. I plan on doing a full report soon, but my initial impressions are excellent. Man, the packaging on these cabinets is excellent, as they really take all the necessary steps to make sure both retailers and customers receive their cabinets in perfect condition as expected.![]()
Agreed - definitely in a different tax bracket! Those GR Bass active cabinets look great, but pretty pricey compared to the Blackstar 250ACT...!

I haven’t experienced this noise with my punchline, but the master EQ in particular has a ton of headroom. I’ve found unity volume to be around 9 o’clock, so I would think boosting past that would bring some noise. So, a question for you experienced dudes out there. Just got a Punchline (a demo from Sweetwater) and it's pretty dang neat. My question may or may not relate to the 'noise' some have spoken of. I do find that when I get the Volume knob past about noon on either the EQ, Amp Sim, or EQ sections, then I get noise. But it's not what I would normally think of as 'noise'; it's not a buzz it's a hiss. Not overwhelming and gets buried pretty quickly. Maybe that's more of an analog artifact? Anyway, any ideas would be appreciated. TIA and Merry Christmas to everyone.
