JMJ Signature Road Worn Mustang!

I picked one of these up a couple of weeks ago. I was in the market for a p-bass and one of the shops I happened to go into had one of these they'd just gotten in. I was super curious about it since there are hardly any around at this point so I decided to check it out.

The setup wasn't very good out of the box but it sounded great through the amp I plugged into at the shop. Decided to pick it up on a whim instead of continuing the search for a P bass that I liked. Took it to the tech who sets up all my guitars and got a good setup done and now this thing is absolutely killer.

I was a little skeptical of flat wounds since I've only really had experience with round wound strings in the past but I really like them so far. h

Long story short, bass is killer after a good set up and I'm very happy so far.

Background: I'm a guitar player who was looking to pick up a bass to do some basic recording stuff with. New to these forums but love a ton of the stuff @jmjbassplayer has been involved with. Was excited to see him getting a signature bass.

Hi Justin,

I am going to ask you the most important question you have ever been asked:
Say Fender comes to you and wants to do another production run of your sig bass IN A DIFFERENT COLOR, what color would you choose?
The fate of the world rides on your answer, so choose carefully my friend! ;)

Thanks, Beau

Sigh...I wish I was at liberty to answer this.

I'm like not even playing my 4003 anymore, but at least I have a good reason!
