I think Deaky has got to be the one guy who made me want to play bass. I've been a Queen fan for years and have always been incredibly aware of the bass in their songs. Some of the best constructed basslines I've heard.

Is this the right time and place to put this link then I wonder, sadly Mr. Deacon has retired and won't be present I thought it was worth a mention nontheless

Trust me may man, I would never forget about Rodger. Rodger to me is the most solid drummer I've ever heard! Remember him and Deaky formed the "Sonic Volcano" Great man, and great drummer and great songs!

If anyone is wondering what the 'Sonic Volcano' is, read this review of Queen's debut album. One of the few times a music critic gets it right.
