Yes, you can see it clearly (if you're a nerd like me anyway!!) in the Bohemain Rhapsody vid. I definitely recall reading an article/interview with him saying he was using a couple of Acoustic 371s at one time - these were the ultimate in Bass rigs in the late '70s, although when I finally got to try one, I couldn't get on with it at all :-).

I'm Youtubing the live aid vid @ the moment and it looks like he's got a row of Sunns with same the Natural Fender P in the Bohemian Rhapsody vid.
 
Slightly off topic but still about John Deacon, there is a Queen DVD bootleg from the Houston Summit circa 1977 where Deacon plays his ass off. Proving that he was truely underrated and should have never been called "the other guy."
