I never saw anybody play there, but I remember Alarios. They had a lot of cool stuff played there. You must remember the Bacchanal up in...Kearny Mesa? I saw a ton of bands there. That place will be missed!

Seems like fully half your posts make me a little homesick, Harry!

Harry played Bacchanal a bunch of times including one show opening for ToP iirc.

After doing some digging, a gentleman from Yamaha got back to me saying this was a one off only, and won't be produced.

I think maybe they're waiting for an internet 'Please Build It' campaign. So I'm starting one; here, today.

YAMAHA, BUILD IT AND WE'LL BUY SOME.

Time to pipe up if you want one.

I agree I think. ....It's not that he's anything but flawless on electric bass.... It's that he isn't a particularly inspired or varied performer in how he comes across. If you listen to it analytically it's amazing, but i don't go WOW for some reason.

Amazing player, of course, and I'm only stating my subjective feeling when I watch, or listen to, him on electric bass.

His upright playing is so shockingly over the top however

The only one's I've seen are these:

Haji, I played at the Bacchanal when touring with Bo Diddley. I do remember it as being a fun gig!
