“Johnny Staccato” might be one of the coolest handles ever.

I suppose it had to happen eventually. In an episode named "Murder in Hi-Fi" there is a band scene where the "musicians" are obviously fakers, not even remotely believable-so sad. Not only not players, you hear instruments that aren't even there. There is one memorable exchange: Club owner: "This is a jazz joint. We don't use singers." Tough guy: "They're like snails. You learn to like them."
