TalkBass helped me make my decision to buy a Harley Benton RB-414 and what length of strings are compatible (because apparently D'addario's standard length are too short while other brands are fine lmao.) And I love coming here to see people's knowledge of what pedals and effects certain songs used. So I finally joined a couple months ago and I think this site will continue to be a great resource for bass stuff.
I'm loving the RB-414 and also bought a Zoom B1x Four. I'm actually more of a drums guy but bass is my secondary main instrument. I'm super passionate about Paul McCartney's bass playing and the sound of all the Beatles stuff. Saw a couple of great Beatles forums on here regarding the White Album tones which intrigued me.
