Julie Slick, what bass is she using?

In this video, Julie is playing a really interesting looking bass. Is this a custom one she had made, or is it a signature model? After a lot of googling, I couldn't find out anything about it. I'm very interested in picking one up myself because it seems like it would be loads of fun to play.

Couldn't tell you exactly what it is, but it's basically just a custom Bass VI

Like the Fender Bass VI, it's tuned like a bass. You might be able to tune it as a baritone as well.

"The three JP-90 pickups are made in-house by sister company Hanson Pickups, and they feature alnico 5 magnets for crisp highs and tight, warm lows. With outputs of 8.6k for the neck and middle pickups, and 9.6k for the bridge, they’re very close to vintage specs."

I'd hazard a guess that any vintage spec P90's would be close in tone.

This. Current listed price is $3520. I've seen original Bass VIs in the $2000 range, and there's always the current Squier version for what, $450 now that they raised the prices?

Like the Fender Bass VI, it's tuned like a bass. You might be able to tune it as a baritone as well.

It's actually tuned like a guitar: E-e, but an octave lower.

Julie's custom also has a midi pickup near the bridge, which she runs into a Roland VB-99.

My bad. Pawn Shop VI is what I was referring to. Serves me right for posting past my bed time. Corrected.
