Caught Adrian Belew last night in Chicago (or should I say, a guy named Adrian Belew that looked like my Great Uncle Vito but could still play some crazy guitar...jkjk!) and really enjoyed the bass antics of Julie Slick. Awesome stuff there!

Yeah, right? I caught the show a few weeks ago in Richmond VA. I've seen her with Belew a bunch of times -- the first time about 12 years ago with brother Eric on drums -- and somehow she seems to get better every time. I couldn't tell you what else happened on stage because my eyes were locked on her hands for two hours, but I'm told that her guitarist is pretty good.
