Yes. I was trying to name the finish and had "weathered fence" come to mind.
Dark Horse, regardless of my wise guy comments in the original thread about slabbers being boat anchors ( in jest I promise, I really admire your work ) This is a very nice and unique build.
My Peavey Foundation is a leftover parts bass, and it's s a killer instrument. Great Work !
Yep, it's a mutt but in a good way. So how much does it weigh? I love the Tele head stock on the P-basses. (Like the Squier CV 50s I just got) The finish is striking for me in that I see a lot of reliced basses and I look at this one and try to imagine how it got worn like that.

Using the bathroom scale, it comes in at 8.4 lbs. ....though honestly, it feels a bit lighter. Might go to FedEx and weigh it
