Just bought a Boss Micro BR today

There doesn't seem to be tons of feedback on TB about this little thing.

Any feedback from users? Tricks? Things I should know?

I have been screwing around with it for a couple of hours and once you figure out what the buttons do, it is fairly simple to use.

My boys (10 and 11) like the fact that after I record a guitar and a bass track, they can use the built in mike to sing along with the music. I like the fact that I can quickly erase their screwing around without effecting my tracks (thier song had something to do with me being a farthead, I believe:eyebrow: ).

Reminds me of the old Fostex 4 track cassette recorder I had 20 years ago.

I think it is a great little thing for a couple hundred bucks. I also looked at the BR600 but I don't think I need the extra features.

Hi. I'm thinking about the Micro BR too. Did you look at the Zoom H4? If so, why did you go with the Boss? Thanks.

I was afraid of the H4 as I thought I would tazer myself if I touched the wrong button.:eyebrow:

Ya gotta admit it looks like a tazer gun.:D

Honestly, I never really looked at the H4 beyond checking it out on the web and I got a great deal on the Boss Micro. I have lots of Boss effects as well and have never had quality issues.

So far I love the Micro BR and it is really easy to use now since I actually read the manual. It is not something that you can just plug a guitar into and start recording IMO but it only takes an hour or two to get up to speed.
