Interesting one-off home/luthier built I'd say - hybrid of Les Paul Jr and an Entwistle Alembic.
The Grovers scream Teisco?!?! In what universe did Teisco use Grovers?!?!
My vote is a high school woodshop project back when they had woodshop classes in high school.
I feel that it homemade. The routing for the bridge was definitely done in some ones garage. The elongated headstock is a bit much, and the finish looks uneven. I think it is cool, but definitely home-built. Looks like a mix of grabber and 1960 eb0.
The pickups remind me a bit of my old Travis Bean... and the sunburst really looks "inspired by" Odyssey/Atilla, so I would hazard a guess it might come from the West Coast - maybe an apprentice project? The finish looks pretty rough, but parts of the job look very well done (control cavity cover, for example...)

Probably, the first thing that I do when I get it (next week) is address that bridge. If nothing else, the saddles need addressing, etc...
I really like how the seller is being honest about it's condition by providing big,clear, close-up pictures....Hope it works out for you.
That Badass is clearly not the original bridge and since the original was recessed and some of the other tells this may have been a factory prototype, possibly and 'artist' model that was never intended to escape into the wild. The original bridge may have been stripped to avoid identification but the other tells look to be possibly Rickenbacker to my eye, but early PRS, Pedulla, Dean or Hamer also come to mind

It was designed and hand built by Sumdewd in his basement lutherie.
He was known to route his pickup cavities by eyeballing it, without the use of modern CNC equipment. The non-parallel pickup cavities are a trademark of his proprietary manufacturing process, and contribute to the unique one-of-a-kind nature of each instrument he crafted.
It's tough to tell the year from the photos, but it looks to definitely be somewhere between 1951 and 2018.
Take good care of it, and it is sure to appreciate in value!
