With a little arts & crafts this is a chance to come up with your own name for it. While I was at it, I'd scratch the Fender logo off of it and replace it with a Squier logo.

Great plan except for the broken switch.....With a little arts & crafts this is a chance to come up with your own name for it. While I was at it, I'd scratch the Fender logo off of it and replace it with a Squier logo.
Ok...Looked at the board....On a powder coat paint job?
Yeah right!
I’d bet you’ve got a preproduction demo/eval unit. Possibly built and passed around extensively for testing (hence the flaky bypass switch) before Fender’s marketing people settled on the final name for it.
Look at the PCB inside. Are the part numbers and other information stenciled on it - or is it just a plain vanilla board. If it’s plain (or it has wire jumpers) there’s a good chance it’s preproduction or prototype board.
Ok...Looked at the board....
Green....Fender marked in several places....Part numbers in evidence too....
As previously mentioned it sounds ok when the switch works.....
Yes the pic is directly from his ad.....No...the switch was not disclosed....If the switch wasnt disclosed as not working then reverb will take care of it for sure.
Was that the picture on the sale pic? If the switch was disclosed and that's the unit pictured then you may have a hard time if they selected "as described" since it was a mistake on reading it on the buyer's side.

Have already done as you suggested......Thanks...I've done a ton of dealings on reverb. Reach out to the seller and let them know and request a refund. If they don't do it then go to reverb. Possibility of some damage in transit and the seller probably selected the shipping coverage anyway so everyone wins on getting it squared away.
If he/she gives you a hard time then get in touch with reverb. They're good about fixing this kinda thing pretty quickly.
Best of luck to you!Have already done as you suggested......Thanks...![]()
Yours!.....Stupid expensive because of the missing graphic......Best Fender for metal? I mean it's not black but it is red so...

Actually, pretty good....if and when the Bypass button decides to work.........
Geezer claims that the graphic must have worn off........
Look at the pic....it was never there....
Yep!....Price skyrockets!!!......Whoah, a pedal owned by Geezer Butler? dude.....

Ok then....Bidding starts at a grand.....Vintage too.....

$9,999!Ok then....Bidding starts at a grand.....![]()

There was a thread a while ago where a guy bought a used pedal here and it didn't come with the factory box. Guy ranted and raved for pages about it. The pedal-box thing is now sort of a TB standard meme
