Just bought this....(Fender)

As for the switch, seems a lot of manufactures are going to a CB mounted microswitch and the "footswitch is just a means to engage the switch. Sometimes they can get out of adjustment and you can just give them a 1/4 turn and the push the micro switch a little further to get it to engage. I had a zoom B2 where one of the footswitches wore out, and I ended out going to radio shack and buying a few micro-switches for next to nothing...I have training n repairing CBs, and if I blew up the pedal I wasn't going to be out much.
Zoom wasn't much help. They offered me a replacement PCB with the only 2 switches ( no other components) for the cost of a new pedal.

Pedal looks legit... but I think the hand is a fake.

One related question...

If I order a tort pick guard... should it come in a box?
Yes!....A box like this....

Wouldn’t a solvent remove it easily? It’s just screennprinted on aluminum, isn’t it?
Ok then....
There really is no way that the graphic could be removed without leaving any sign of ever having been there....Unless someone comes along and does it easily with a solvent....:wideyed:......

Blimey.....Anyhow.....graphic, or not (Ha)...The bloody pedal is broke so all graphic thingies are henceforth deemed irrelevant......mutter.....

I had a Zoom B1-on that had the main adjustment pot stop working so that no parameters could be changed. I figured any repair would be too costly so I opened it up hoping it was just a loose wire or something that I could simply solder. Whilst open I put the batteries back in but somehow touched a wire or solder that I shouldn't have..... and some magic smoke came out of it. Into the bin it went!

Not even going to try with the switch.....

I have ZERO skills when it comes to this stuff and I don't want to mess it up any more than it already is...

I know a guy.

It'll be interesting to see what's up with this thing. One of the first reviews I found online mentioned returning a brand new one due to a bypass switching problem. I'm wondering if the two bypass mode options might have anything to do with that. Just a WAG until it's on my workbench though.
