These pics were when it was for sale so I wanted to show everything. The arrangement of the board is also off from how I ran it.

I think it would have to be Empress. They already have three of my favorite pedals (Heavy, Multidrive, and Compressor), and they cover every other category I want/need except pitchshifting. I could be reasonably happy with an all-Empress board.

Honorable mentions:
Source Audio---needs compression and pitchshifting, but probably my second choice
Eventide---needs dirt, but has some stuff I would hate to live without
Strymon---I've never even played through one, needs dirt and pitchshifting, but obviously awesome and covers a lot of ground
Earthquaker Devices---I don't even own any of their stuff (I have played through some), but they cover almost everything
Darkglass---if only so I could have my favorite dirt, even if they don't cover much else

Edited to add: Iron Ether is another honorable mention in the "never played them, but they seem awesome, and cover lots of ground" group

If I was limited to one brand I think my first choice would be Source Audio because you could cover so much ground with their current offerings. I think my second choice would be EQD for much the same reason. My third choice would be Iron Ether because I really dig the sounds from everything I've gotten from him. Honorable mention goes out to Darkglass because they are almost always on and who knows what's coming next from him:).

They've got 6 dirt pedals now (4 drives, 2 boosters), yet I can't put my finger on the lack of appeal for myself personally. Poor marketing? No word of mouth/buzz... I read the descriptions for Diamond's dirt offerings and it doesn't induce GAS like reading the descriptions for Fairfield or Empress (Dr. Scientist is in a whole other class for product descriptions).An all JohnK board, that was a stroke of Genius NSH. ;) Any pedal you want, basically.

I tried a J-drive on bass, didn't blow me away, and didn't seem to have great low end retention either. It was a quick test at a store though, so I wouldn't hold me to me own comments on that one - it may warrant another try. The Cornerstone seems really interesting, but again I'm not sure if it is really bass suited. The Blaze sounds like it could be cool...so I dunno, maybe it is a lack of marketing or something like that, a lack of demos, a lack of stock in stores. Not sure. I'm kind of tempted now to hit LMQ this weekend and try some of them out. My Diamond comp is one of the most important pedals I have, their chorus is lovely...it might be time to take Diamond dirt for a run! If their dirt is ok, it may give Empress a run for its money for my single brand pedalboard!

I use an old Boss ME 8b effects processor. Mostly for the chorus. It has a nice OD and envelope filter as well as other pretty wild sounds. I like the fact that I can program effects and with a footswitch I can quickly assess the tuner.
