...This is purely for looks only, as I can play either way. If you know the Fender Marcus Miller Jazz (Natural), would you keep the chrome neck pickup cover on or off?

I took it off to clean the bass, and left it off over a weekend. People were saying they preferred it off, but I thought it looks kinda cool on.

Any thoughts??

I have the 75 RI MIA and I had the pu covers put on. Took them off after about 2 weeks because they just kept getting in the way. Don't forget... there is a reason almost every old school player from back in the day calles them "ash trays".
