just got back from sea...again!

hey, what's up guys! just logged another patrol...this was a pretty long one...i left king's bay, georgia nearly three months ago and i find myself now back in bangor, washington...man, what a long trip! we went south to antarctica and then back up the western coast of south america, north america into the straits of juan de fuca and here i am...great to be back! so, what did i miss? anything cool? you know, i'm just noticing that i've spent half of my talkbass membership underwater :D

Ahhhhhhhhh.. That's what I miss the most about my time in the Navy; the travel!!

Welcome back!! In fact you're back just in time to buy one (or both) of my Conklins!!!!!!!!!

I used to play underway all the time, but back then I was a guitar player. I prefer bass.

I jest.. Was aboard the USS Eisenhower (CVN 69), CINCLANT, ET2(SW) when I got out.. Had planned on making a career but then Clinton started cutting benefits... :rolleyes:

Hey, get it right!!! It's "120 men go down, 60 couples come back". Truth is, some of us are sluts so it's not 60 couples. ;)

Nope. Fast Attacks all the way. And, even as an RM, I went to just as many, if not more, electronics schools as any surface ET. We had to fix our own gear on subs. That's why it was an easy transition to ET for me. Besides, ET looks a lot better on a resume for a civilian job than RM does.

Nickman, which boat in Pearl? I spent 3 years out there on the USS Bremerton.
