Hi people
I’m just getting back into playing bass after about 15years ( kids and other distractions) and I’m loving it
As an older dude (45) I feel more patient and willing to take my time
Than when I was young and wanted everything NOW
Plus all the tutorials and backing tracks to play to online are so much more than anything I’m used to so I’m like a kid in a toy shop
my influences are Larry graham, bootsy, flea, Stuart zender, Francis Hylton,Aston family man Barrett,Marcus miller etc.

What was your status 15 years ago? Were you a professional musician, weekend warrior, garage band, or just jam along to songs on the radio?
We have all types here. I used to be a weekend warrior, but have morphed into just jam with the radio over the last 10 years. Some folks are professional musicians, others have never played in public.

Hi

I played mostly at home to cd’s and improvised to beats and jammed regularly with friends at our houses or hired a small practice room at our local studio
I’ve been asked to join a couple of bands but music was always quite a private thing for me so Ive never played to a proper crowd.
