Every time I play through a truly great setup and feel the power of those low notes I dont know why anyone would want to play any other instrument.

I was definitely living the dream, even if for only 2 hours of performance. But that warm glow did last for a few days after. Even after hearing the mistakes we made in those vids. :lol:

In the 80s I played with my band Oceano in front of 60,000 people in a soccer stadium in Bogota Colombia, the bass gear was crapy and with no power, the PA was OK, but the crows was great, lighters in the sky and all the cheering what a great feeling.
A few month ago this same band open for the Mexican group MANA. Every thing was top notch, bass gear was great, Ampeg SVT-4, In Ear balance was good, PA was a brand new L'Acustic K3, lightning out of this world in front of 7000 people. I will never forget this gig. We had no sound restrictions in FOH. Light operator of Mana did a good job, with out the need to ask him for this big favor. They treated us very well, gave us a good amount of time for sound check. Thanks to the Mana Crew, very nice guys.
I wish you more moment of this kind, with our instrument of choice, THE BASS...

our little show was daylight with the sun slowly setting over the stage. They did turn on the few FOH lights available during the second set and even with only a few loghts the heat was very noticeable.
