So I bought a used Bass Master Pro system from my teacher today. I was playing with a stereo cable that splits into separate TS plugs so I could solo the pickups through my new Fdeck HPF-Pre. They sound amazing through the Fdeck but I'd like the Fdeck in the front of the signal chain otherwise its kind of pointless. I'm thinking I will just order a second HPF-Pre and split the signal from the stereo jack into two HPF's and then use another cable to go back to stereo into the K&K blender. Is there any better way to get this done without spending more than $55? Also is there a reason why this would not work or be detrimental?

Double Bass K&K Bass Master Pro with the Fdeck Pre

I can't see why you need F dek's preamp at all, except for the hi-pass filter--the K&K preamp already provides an impedance match. If all you want is the hi-pass filter, you can put it in the signal chain after the output of the K&K preamp. That should work just fine. Having two F-dek preamps, it seems to me, would needlessly complicate your signal chain
It does seem sort of extravagant I know, but the HPF is 10Mohm and the K&K is 1Mohm and both me and my guitar player noticed a lot less ugly thwack with the HPF-Pre.
