Kala U-Bass?

I have one of the early models, when they first hit the market, and just switched to the Kala roundwounds. They sure are different. I bought a new nut with narrower slots but haven't installed it yet. Anyone else tried these strings? I sort of got tired of the rubbery ones.....

I have a Chinese copy , it’s really cheap , but sounds ok . Guilty pleasure , I like to goof around on it . I also have an Ashbory for those days I need to hear some iffy intonation . Fun !
