Update, the small rectangular door on the back has started to flatten out again. Don't think I'll have to do anything to it.
I am glad that I have my Spruce top. I do wish that the availability of the Mahogany was clearer. Oh well, I can wait. I am enjoying what I have now and look forward to getting the Mahogany. I went through the same scenario when I ordered a Line 6 G30 wireless unit. I am back there again.

How did you manage that Do you think an A-style mandolin strap would be long enough to attach to the headstock? I don't want to install a button....
I just use a guitar strap with a "shoelace" on the end. I tie the shoelace around the headstock above the nut and put the other end on the button at the bottom.
I am using a classical acoustic guitar strap that clips in the sound hole like the one Willie Nelson uses

Well ok then. I ordered up some strings from RT. We'll see if that does the trick
