Kappa 3015LF in a TL-606 cab?

Time has come to replace the 15" in my Mesa 1x15" Diesel cab.. want to shed weight and gain headroom. I'm considering the Eminence 3015LF because I also run a 2x10 (plus horn) Diesel cab, which provides additional mid and punch... that cab will be next in-line for upgrading to neo's.

Will this 3015LF + 2x10 cab configuration play well together?

- Is it worth considering an external xover to relieve the 2x10 from unnecessary low end excursion? (thus creating a modular, somewhat "full-range" system)

- If I'm using the 3015LF in this TL-606 style cab, what's the best neo replacement option for the 2x10 cab? I'm looking for the best freq slope match if no xover, or is there a superior option that may require a xover? Obviously also best match for other specs.. watts, xmax, sensitivity, ohms etc. (prefer a 16-ohm 10" speaker for a total system 4 ohm load, but my Aggie DB750 can do 2 ohm so even an 8 ohm 10" should be fine..?)

I'm not at all craving a hi-fi sound, and I'm happy to lose high's and hi-mids - I keep the horn off and eq out mids as it is.. (Besides re-sale, is there any reason not to personalize the cabs to your own sound?)

Annoyed or flippant responses welcome. Clearly I'm a newbie and also lazy, hoping for easy answers with no WinISD homework lol.

Without the crossover, I would use a 3015 not a 3015LF, as it will behave better in the small TL606 box and do better in the midrange.

Depends on the box size of the 2x10 but Basslites are one of the best.
