Ditto. I’ve been playing for thirty years and taken many lessons with great teachers over the years but have made more progress with Katie in the past year. She’s amazing.
Katie posted this the other day. Interesting she does not drag an amp around.
Schlepping a double bass around is enough without the second trip in and out for an amp. I always help the drummer so it's not that I'm lazy but the additional volume isn't worth it if you're not happy with the sound from an amp.

Yes but also with her voice! She is singing a Coltrane solo while playing Steve Davis' bass line. Her brain must be wired differently.With her hands?
