Keep the Flea or go for the Thumb?

...a bit more "hi-fi". A little more piano-like, and less gnarly growl. More highs, less growly (but still undeniably "Thumb" in it's growliness). Without posting clips (which I won't do because the 5-ver is wearing dead strings), I can't do much better...trying to describe a sound is tough. Hope I've been of some help...

I just believe that if you aren't satisfied with the tone then it's not for you. I'd say go with the Thumb, and I believe you will find a through neck to be very comfortable, not to mention it will sound great. I believe that is the tone quilty you wish for.

Yeah, I really dig the feel of the neck through. And the smooth, fast feel of wood.

Kind of off topic, but how much to you suppose I could get for my Flea? Its in excellent condition minus a tiny ding near the input jack.

^^ I made an approximation of how much money I make, then added fees/ bills etc, and determined that I'll be able to buy the Thumb by around the beginning of february. Not bad actually, I probably with save for a while

So does anyone have any pros/ cons of each instrument?
