Keeping your instrument cables untwisted?

Besides the good technique to wind the cord, you can use those velcro strips that they sell at you local music store, or make your own. They hold the cable and keep it from tangling with everything else. Since I started using those I haven't had a tangle since. Something like these:

Also Planet waves cables come with a little stretchy tie and clip on them that works well too.
