Keith passed away some time earlier last year. Details haven't been aplenty, but it was before July 31, when there was a get-together for him in CA:

I was trying to message him, then asking about him on FB. Eventually I found the notice above and posted it. His daughter eventually found me there announcing his passing, and she was thoughtful enough to message me, saying at the start of a very nice conversation:
I hope that ain't indiscreet... And so that's that. He and I played together in the 90s in Tim Brooks's band, associated with Macon, GA. He lived somewhere around Atlanta and I lived in Perry, and sometimes, if there wasn't a Tim Brooks gig that weekend, Keith would stay with me and we'd play with some friends of mine in this Country/Rock band... up the street from my one bedroom apartment... and at the restaurant where I worked. That was the easiest gig on the planet Earth.
Keith and I just got on and had fun with each other. Dude could tell a joke.
Oh and he was a frikken monster player. That lineup with him was pound-for-pound the coolest band I've ever been in.
Damn those guys were good. Way out of my league.
Anyway, that is the deal. There is footage of us playing in Atlanta at this site I made a while ago. Heads-up - I think it still has Google ads on it.

Keith was a cool, laid-back, friendly, funny fella, and I miss having him to ******** with and explain bass things for me. I know that some of you knew him and there was a thread a year or two back where he got together with some of you.
