I figured I would ask the kind folk at TB if they are familiar with bassist Ken Altman. He used to play bass on many of the solo albums by former Lovin' Spoonful vocalist John Sebastian. Not much information seems to be readily available on him, but I am assuming that Ken mostly played a Fender Precision Bass or a Fender Jazz Bass through an Ampeg B15 or an Acoustic 360 bass amp.
From what I have been gathering, Ken Altman also worked as a luthier in Portland, Oregon. I guess he has been working as a luthier since the nineties. I figured id post this since I have the album Welcome Back by John Sebastian and found out he played bass on it.
