Looks like he simply went back home. It happens to most of us.
But, yeah, he was a Kubicki/SWR guy for a long time.

Great player, great band (Lowell really set a great tone for the band). Nice to see him go back to basics, Feat songs demand it as they're generally very 'organic.'
Kenny Gradney and Richie Heyward one of the greatest rhythm sections ever! I am blessed to have seen the original band several times.
He's actually using Sunn Coliseum components there, circa '74; the amp head behind Lowell in that first pic that looks like a V4 is possibly a Dumble.
