Kent bass guitars

Hi there,
I’m wondering if anyone with an 800 series Kent hollow body has a spare bridge with mute for sale? I have an 835 12 string but somewhere along the way the string damper has been removed, and i’d Like to restore the guitar to as close to original as I can. Please let me know!!

3 of my 4 Kent Series 700 and 800 basses from 1967. I'm always on the hunt looking to add a few more with different finishes.

Great photo Thornton! The bass on the left of your photo is the one I'm looking for. What is number of it? My story is this-my brother and I had a rock band in high school where he played a Kent bass (the one on the left in your photo). Sadly he traded it for another along the way. Fast forward to today, he plays professionally and has a successful music production company for tv and movies. He's going to turn 70 in a year. His kids and I are looking for his original bass to surprise him with. I know it's a long shot but any chance you'd be willing to sell it? Know of any others? Thanks Thornton!

mikeflav, the models in my photo above are from left to right; 833 - 743 - 833 all are from 1967. The 700 Series were solid body and the 800 Series were semi-acoustic (no center block).

Thanks! As mentioned in previous message, looking for a 70th bday present for my brother. Kent 833 was his first bass long ago. Any chance there's an amount that would get you to part with it?

Sorry but not a chance. I did that once before and immediately regretted it. Took me 5 years to find my current 833.

They are around but you have to look carefully and closely as most of them have not been cared for and are missing original parts. which are next to impossible to find.
