Edit, I might add that I've dug all the bassist in the Mule, even the multitude of fill in bassist after Woody died. Same with Tedeschi/Trucks every bassist was badass.
A lot of great music being made every day in this world.
I’ve watched a few videos of him and Govt mule. He gets great tone from whatever bass he’s playing. I saw him play Gibson, Rickenbacker and Serek (I believe). Absolutely relentless bassist. Great fit for this band.
Late to the party on this guy, but wow - what a beast of a player! I saw the FORQ performance and have been studying his breakdown/jam/solo thing that starts at about 2:30 in the video. This groove right here is why I play the bass. Amazing playing.
I saw Mule couple nights ago in Fayetteville, AR.... sounded great, and Kevin Scott was on fire! He was in the pocket and filling the room with 1/16th notes all night! No shortage of solos, and no shortage of awesomeness!!!
I absolutely love mule and I ABSOLUTELY LOVE Larkin Poe. Anyone else been enjoying this pairing lately. I would post links but my feeble old M.S. addled brain won't allow such activities.
