Kiesel Multiscale Zeus

I like the scales they chose. Hope they follow suit with the Osiris; I prefer the strap at the 12th fret for the reach, though their single cut design looks sharp.

I’m with you on the choice of scales. I like the way fanned frets even out the temperament between strings but find a 3” difference between B and G a bit too much which makes it somewhat unusable for me past the 15th fret. I think a 1.5” fan down from a 35” B would be nice. It looks like the locking bridge also lets it work with a traditional XL set of double ball end strings. I’d like to give one of these a try.

The 35" B was a head-scratcher for me at first as I personally don't find the difference between a small fan and a straight scale big enough to justify the additional price. But I'm truly glad to see that this is something people actually want. If people like it and it sells, good for all involved.

That said, I still hope they offer a 37" low end on the fives and sixes eventually. I suspect there are more potential buyers for a 37" five than a seven string of any scale.
