Double Bass KK Baby Bass pick up replacement

Hello, i've owned my KK Baby bass for a couple of years now. I'm wanting to get more mid range punch similar to an Ampeg. I've tried everythying except for different pickups. Has anyone tried using different pickups in a KK? Would thinning the neck change the tone? Cheers

Try the DB side of TB, you'll probably do better over there.
