Know anyone that's PREGNANT?

as an adoptee and as folks interested in adopting, are there any forums (like this one, but not bass-related, of course) for folks in your situation?

there are, but they are lopsided with couples looking to adopt. probably kind of overwhelming for a birth mom. I mean, think about it from her point of view; typically young, pregnant, scared, fear of the unknown, fear of telling anyone.
Probably feels kind of lonely, I would think.

You know Jady, for however long I've noticed you, I think you've done a fine job at trying to unload your kids onto someone else! I hope I can be a father like that one day.

And to Crusader, I know of one pregnant girl at my school, although I've heard that there were two. I'd ask one of them for you, but I think it'd be very creepy. Plus, I kinda don't wanna talk to them...

Good luck, though!

thanks.
see, i know that they're out there.
ps....(perhaps you could mention it to a teacher or counselor? you need not be overly involved any further than that)

Maybe you could watch the paternity test episodes on Maury and contact some of those women. Those people need have their babies taken from them.

Seriously, I wish you good luck. And I can confirm that adoption can be an expensive process. I was shocked when my brother told me how much he and his wife paid their adoption agency.

Of course, a year and a half later, his was pregnant naturally.

Have you looked at the information available at Invalid Link Removed ? Sure, he's the guy who put Wendy's on the map, but he was also adopted and started this foundation to give back to the community. Actually, it's only that I gave a buck towards this foundation the last time I bought a cheeseburger that I remembered this site. Maybe it's a sign...

Or maybe I eat Wendy's cheeseburgers too often. :D
