Well, I went over there during my lunch, and had very much the misfortune of having to speak to the secretary who seems to make sure none of my questions are answered. They wouldn't just let me walk in and talk to my, or any of the guidance councilors, which is what I normally do. And I didn't really want to make an appointment for this, because I just don't like that secretary.

I just told them what it was about, and she basically told me that legally, the school can't talk to them. She also asked if I knew the guidance councilor for the girl, to which the answer is no, I know nothing about her. I'm gonna try again tomorrow with different people who I think higher of, I.E. not a secretary.

Well I know it's probably an avenue you've msot likely explored but I thought I'd mention cause as you said; you never know unless you ask.

Some friends of the family (in Seattle) adopted an unwanted Chinese girl and she's totally adorable! But since your generally finding negative experiences with agencies I'm not sure how'd you go about that. I just know its working really well for them!

You beat me to it! I was gonna offer you my kids FOC including delivery charges, but I guess my wife wouldn't be too much pleased, although they'd be going to another bass player!

In all seriousness, I know of two families who have adopted bothe in Russia and Asia and have nothing but praise for the process.

I hope you manage to sort something out somewhere and with someone, and hope you have many years of joy ahead of you when it does wok out!
