I have no issues at all with Italy. None at all.


She has to a degree escaped the laws of the Italian courts. This situation is not only criminal it is also political.

You are in Italy, talk to those who run your country and ask them what is really going on. What deals where made, what favors may have been owed, etc.



And I agree if she was in her own country there's a strong possibility that she would have been done. And maybe then yes her life would be ruined.

Again her life is not ruined.

I have no fear of her having homicidal tendencies. She can come stay with me and I'll be fine giving her intense therapy to make up for those 4 years. Dr. MEKer---thas right! :D

The action taken by the Italian judicial is so ludicrous that the president of the Seismological Society of America (SSA) of which I am a member, wrote a scathing letter to the President of Italy about the absurdity of the action. The SSA is the premier international society of virtually all leading seismologists in the world.

I stand by my assessment.

Yes,but it's been disappointed many time.
Search for Silvia Baraldini or Cermis to more information.

After all,here in Italy there is a 3th last grade of trial.
Maybe Sollecito was judged another time, everyone believed the usa never let amanda come here to be (maybe ) finally declared guilty.
That's the important point:for Sollecito is not the end of his "trouble" with justice,forn knox yes

As indicated above, Article VI of the treaty says the parties won't extradite anyone who has been convicted, acquitted or pardoned for the crime for which he is being extradited. Knox has now got two of the three, so she won't be coming back.

Before she left Italy she said she would eventually go back. Bad idea, IMO.

If anyone, they should be going after the man who spoke beyond his authority when paraphrasing the information given him by the seismologists.

Bash Italy's legal system all you want, but you can't deny its position of largest wine producing country, incredible cuisine and stunning geography.

You just gotta look past the craziness of the Italians to fall in love with the place.

Oh goodness, if Nancy Grace thinks she's guilty of something, then surely she must be. :scowl:

I wonder what Gloria Allred thinks? If Gloria thinks she's guilty, then I'd surely be convinced. ;)

On second thought, Gloria is probably trying to sign her up as a client so they can sue the Italian government for billions.
