Korean or Japanese?

Where is it made? Korea, Japan, or other?

I have a Scott brand 4 string jazz copy. It’s an amazing old bass I bought for $100 at a pawn shop. However, I can’t find any information on the company. The quality, feel, and sound reminds me of some of my Japanese lawsuit era basses but the limited written information on the bass itself seems like the same way some of my Korean instruments are. Just a brand on the headstock and a sticker on the back of head stock that says 1203 inspected by 20. Any help with info would be greatly appreciated, thanks

It's a Korean Samick, bridge is a dead giveaway.
So I'm guessing Epiphone used these bridges on their Korean made basses too?
I have a Korean made Epiphone Accu Bass with the Explorer type headstock before they switched over to the batwing design, has the same bridge. Took a little brasso and elbow grease, but the brass cleaned up pretty well as can be seen in the last pic.
