Korean Spector in my attic. Help please?

I found this in my attic 2 days ago, in a gig bag. I had completely forgotten about it. My wife and I are cleaning out the attic, next to an upstairs office we're painting and refurnishing, and I saw the gig bag in the attic. I thought it was empty!

I don't remember gigging with this or even playing it.

Geez I had GAS bad back then.

So anyway, I've spent the last two days cleaning it, restringing it, and doing a little repair work. The battery in the compartment had burst. Not a pretty sight.

I got it cleaned up, plugged it in, and it plays and sounds great. The action is decent without any adjustment (yet), and the frets are in good shape.

What the heck is it? I know it's a Korean Spector, but what model is it? The serial number is in the pics, so I guess I'll have to email Spector and ask for more info. But I was hoping someone here could give me some background info on it.

Thanks!

Yep... I once found a dead squirrel in my attic...not as good a find as yours.

BUT NOT A BAD FIND IF you like squirrels~ !

One of my old Army buds was from Mississippi - he couldn't never stop talking 'bout how much he loved eating squirrel brains. I guess if you have a lot of 'em, you can scrape a pretty good meal together. :D

You, my friend.... Have just answered the age old questions... "How do you know when your GAS is completely out of hand?" And "how do you know when you have too many basses?"

Of course, Alzheimer's disease is no laughing matter.;)

This thread is the dictionary definition of out of control GAS. ;) When you have too many to keep track of. :D Which isn't always a bad thing. Especially when Spectors start magically appearing. :D

LOL! So true. I honestly saw a gig bag in my attic and thought, "cool, a gig bag!"

Then I go in, grab the thing and realize there's something in it.

I just practiced with it for about an hour. Played a set, while sitting on my couch. The intonation needed a touch up, and of course a new battery, but it's playing great so far.
