These things usually don't work out well. Sucks to say but its true. There was a double whammy recently with this one and Mesa being bought by Gibson.
Boonshoft said he was going to stay in the loop with product dev, but I'd say that isn't the case.
Anyone know if they are still making the db 599 little compressor? Don’t seem to be on the pedal section of the website and I can’t find em anywhere.
It is still there including a link to the manual. All products are tough to find these days but it appears the pedal is still in production.

Speaking of KorgUSA, as a result of them taking on Aguilar, did their distribution relationship with Ashdown change?
I just need customer service from Aguilar. I was told this morning that all manufacturing of Aguilar is still in the US.

No they aren’t? I’ve noticed that they have went from approximately 40 cabinet models ( which to me ) is overkill for any company to now at SW only 13 models with only two of those being in stock, I realize there is still supply issues but it was probably a good decision to maybe clean up a little. Maybe down the road some of models may return, but I think the DBs took the biggest hit.
Browsing dealer stock over the last few months I've noticed they just didn't seem to ship any product for a while while other companies did. Their cabinets were aways made in Ohio by a company that made them for a lot of other manufacturers, who seemed to be shipping some things during this time. Aguilar also vacated their shop in NYC and moved somewhere else according to Dave Boonshoft.
Besides that, lets be honest, Aguilar doesn't exist anymore. It is just a brand owned by Korg. Mojo gone.
This is funny. Aguilar has been assembly-line building their amps for a while now. There wasn't any more mojo before the acquisition because the goal was consistency - which they got. There may have been revisions to the boards in the meantime, but those were engineering revisions, not "mojo" changes.
The AG700 came out in 2017, well before Korg completely took over the brand.
"The Market" demands 7lb 700w heads from every manufacturer and then is surprised when everything sort of starts to feel the same.
Agree with these thoughts, Same thing happened with EDEN. They just quietly went away. I'm glad I bought the full spectrum of DB cabs just before the vanishing act. been buying up some used powerhouse cabs now that people are running out of money, and having to sell their gear. still baffles me that Mesa completely dropped this line! would have been smart of them to at least offer the PH cabs, on a made to order basis. I've had so many conversations with bass players in my studio that say they miss the powerhouse line.

Addressing the Powerhouse cabinets, once the Subway cabinets were introduced, the interest by players in new Powerhouse cabinets dropped like a rock. Cabinets weighing twice as much were no longer interesting to the player community, and with a robust used supply available the demand dried up. I’m sure other manufacturers have experienced the same thing.
Nothing surprising. While the powerhouse cabs are great cabs. They were very heavy.
The new subway line is best of both worlds. Mesa tone in a lightweight package.
