I have a G5 on the way, a bit of an impulse buy if I'm honest 
My synth bass aims are to get a bit more vibe into some of the music we do from Steve Winwood (While You See A Chance, Higher Love), Gary Wright (Dream Weaver, Blind Feeling) and the good old synth cliche that is Chameleon.
Obviously no pedal is going to nail those sounds, but will I at least be able to get into the ballpark where lay-listeners feel like they're getting the experience, musos in the audience get their stinky tone-face on, and the vibe on stage helps us get into where the music is coming from? Or am I expecting to much?
