Hey, has anyone had any experience with these? I'm thinking about picking one up for my fiance for her to tool around with and then have her run it through my pedalboard so she can experiment and see what some of the boxes I obsess over are all about. I also understand you can run other instruments into the input and mess around with them. Just curious and for $50 it could be an interesting way to try and bring the lady into my world for a little while.

For the record, I was looking at the Monotro duo as i've seen/heard it is the best for actually trying to play a melody. Personally i'd like to try the delay but as I understand it is more geared towards sound effects rather than trying to squeeze out musical lines.

I have the regular Monotron (not the duo). The thing is ok, specially if you dig tones that you get from some EHX pedals. Not lo-fi, but sound kinda brittle and with a little bump in the mids/low mids?
I've used the LPF with my rig but didn't get musical results back then.
