bought 2 Pitchblack in the last year and both have broken within months....the first one feel 3 feet but the 2nd has been kept in my gigbag...needless to say I won't buy a third

It is plastic - including the rack ears - but it is -very- light. And despite being a rack-mount, it's only about 4" deep so there is not a lot of leverage load on those ears.I know the rack version is all plastic so I was curious about durability.
I will also mention here for completeness (it was brought up in another thread) that all the drama about having the output jack on the back of the rack was kinda pointless because A/B testing revealed that it is indeed quite a tone-suck so I don't use the mute passthrough after all - I run it from either the parallel-out on the B7K or the tuner-out on the wireless.
