Korg Pitchblack Vs T.C Electronic Polytune

I tested the polytune, the poly function is only useful for checking at first glance. You always end up using the normal function for precise tuning. I prefer the visibility of the huge pitchblack LED's for that.

yeah the polytune kicks ass.

one thing i hate about the pitchblack is that it loses all its settings when it is unpowered. i dont use mine with batteries, only DC. everytime the power is cut off it goes back into the standard settings, 440Hz with the default tuning mode. i would have liked to use the strobe setting but cant be arsed to change the mode every single bloody time i set up the board.

this does not happen with the polytune.

is the difference in price justified? that i am not sure.
